03Legal basis and consent
- Providing the Service (account, films, billing): performance of our contract with you.
- Optional data such as your mobile number: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in settings.
- Security, fraud prevention and fixing problems: our legitimate interests and legal obligations.
- Tax and accounting records: legal obligation.
04Who processes your data
We share data only with providers that help us run Talth, under contracts that limit their use of it:
- Cloud hosting and storage: the machines that make each film and store your library.
- AI model providers: to plan, write and check your film. They receive your brief and the material needed for that step.
- Payment partners (Razorpay, Dodo Payments): to take payments and issue invoices.
- Google: if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Email delivery: to send sign-in codes and notifications.
Some providers process data outside India. Where we transfer data abroad we do so as the DPDP Act and GDPR allow, using appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
05How long we keep it
- The cloud machine that makes a film is deleted once the film is delivered or closed.
- Your library, films and account data are kept while your account is active.
- When you delete content or your account, we delete it from the live service within 30 days and from backups within 90 days.
- Invoices and tax records are kept for as long as Indian law requires (currently up to 8 years).
- Security logs are kept for up to 180 days.
06Your rights
You can:
- access a summary of your personal data and how we use it;
- correct or update it (most of it directly in settings);
- delete it, including your whole account;
- withdraw consent for optional data;
- nominate someone to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to (DPDP Act);
- object to or restrict processing, and receive your data in a portable format (GDPR).
Email privacy@talth.si from your account email. We reply within 30 days.
07Deleting your data
Delete individual films and library items in the app at any time. To delete your account and everything in it, email privacy@talth.si from the account email, and we will confirm once it’s done. Workspace owners can remove members and their access in Team settings.
08Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Each film runs on its own isolated machine. Access to production systems is limited to staff who need it. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires. Report security issues to security@talth.si.
09Children
Talth is for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
11Grievances and complaints
Contact our Grievance Officer at privacy@talth.si. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India or, in the EEA or UK, to your local data protection authority.
