Acceptable Use Policy

Make films for brands you own or represent, with music and material you have rights to. Here is what isn't allowed, and how rights holders can report a film.

Last updated 16 October 2026

01Use material you have rights to

Only use brands, logos, music, footage, images and people you own or have permission to use. When you add a brand to Talth you confirm it is yours or that you are authorised to make films for it.

  • Don’t make films with another company’s brand, logo or product without their permission.
  • Don’t use a song unless you hold, or will obtain, the sync licence for how you’ll publish the film. Mark songs as “internal test only” when you don’t.
  • Don’t remove or alter logos that a brand requires to be used unmodified.

02What you can't make

  • Impersonation: films that pretend to come from a person, company or public body you don’t represent.
  • Deceptive or misleading ads: false claims, fake reviews or testimonials, or product claims you can’t back up. Factual claims in a brief should carry a source.
  • Deepfakes: realistic depictions of real people without their consent.
  • Illegal or harmful content: content that is unlawful, sexual content involving minors, hate, harassment, violent extremism, or promotion of self-harm.
  • Regulated products without compliance: ads for financial products, health claims, gambling or alcohol that don’t meet the rules where they’ll run.
  • Election and political deception: misleading content about elections or voting.

03Don't misuse the platform

  • Don’t try to access other workspaces, our machines or our systems beyond what the app allows.
  • Don’t overload the Service, scrape it, or resell access without our written agreement.
  • Don’t ask us to crawl websites you aren’t allowed to use.
  • Don’t use Talth to build a competing AI video model from its outputs.

04What we do about breaches

We may refuse or stop a film, remove content, or suspend or close an account that breaks this policy. Where it’s safe and lawful, we’ll tell you why and let you respond. Serious or repeated breaches may be reported to the authorities.
